Living Inside Out: Becoming a Student of Self
The inner world is the world of the unseen self: your unique human experience, your physiological processing, your sub and unconscious, your motivations, patterns, and conclusions. It’s your basis for action and your home base. Yet most human beings (over)-orient to (and prioritize) the external world over their internal one. (There are about four thousand reasons for this, an interesting exploration unto itself!)
Our inner worlds are always in reciprocity with our outer ones. You exist. And in that truth, is another truth: you are always co-creating, influencing, and being influenced.
How are you being influenced? How are you influencing?
Self-inclusion starts with becoming a student of the self. The exploration of (and tending to) ourselves (inclusive of our inner worlds) is perhaps the most pragmatic “work” we can take on.
In this five-week class, participants will explore the nature of the Self, and learn why self-inclusion is so important. We’ll also explore methods and tools for self-relating, and dig deep into the relationship between the consious and sub/unconscious.

Agenda/Outline - Week 1 - The Nature of Self, Mapping the Self
This week we begin the class, exploring at the intersections of philosophy, psychology, physiology and physics (but not in a terribly academic way). Together, we’re framing the nature of the self. Individually, you’ll be noting where your self-concepts can do with some reconfiguring. We’ll also practice orienting our consiousness inwards, and mapping our inner world using the PACE framework.
